Near the beginning of this year, my book list finally hit 500 entries. On this the last day of June, I hit 550. Surely, I should be able to hit 600 by New Year's…
I am currently reading a book on Lisp (the programming language). The last five books I read were the autobiography of the man who discovered antimatter (specifically, the positron), Carl Anderson; Machiavelli's The Prince; a light read (no sarcasm) called Black Holes, Wormholes & Time Machines, which was interesting but flirted dangerously with being too simplified at times; a science fiction novel called Polar City Nightmare; and Dan Dennett's book on religion, Breaking the Spell.
…I just realised that the above is a rather odd and eclectic collection of books. I suppose it is now more or less fair for me to claim to be widely read?
