Rape and genocide are bad, but spitting out a communion wafer is much worse—it’s on the list of cases considered so heinous by the Catholic Church that only the Pope can grant absolution to those who perpetrate them; genocide explicitly isn’t (priests and bishops can deal with confessions of sins as grave as murder or even genocide).
